This year’s edition of the prestigious Gartner 2020 Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms has once again placed Tableau in the Leaders Quadrant.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant is an annual unbiased ranking of the world’s most widely used analytics and BI solutions, evaluating them by a variety of parameters, including infrastructure, data preparation and management, analytical capabilities, sharing and embedding analytics results, ease of work, completeness of vision, and more.
This is the eighth consecutive year in which Tableau has steadfastly held the leadership position, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of users’ data needs and the ability to provide intelligent, timesaving and easy-to-use analytics tools.
This recognition comes as the culmination of an exceptionally strong year, during which Tableau significantly expanded its product family, both by adding powerful new functionality and by introducing completely new data management solutions.
Business analytics are becoming even more accessible
Tableau has taken a step toward in making it easier for all users to access the benefits of visual analytics by presenting Ask Data and Explain Data. The two new features both leverage artificial intelligence and NLP (natural language processing) capabilities to make data analysis nearly as easy as simply searching for information in Google. All users have to do, is write their questions and get answers in the form of interactive visualizations. That way, even users who have no experience with the system or business intelligence in general, can base their daily work and decisions on trustworthy and comprehensible information.
Easier data management
To facilitate users in this direction, Tableau has added to its portfolio Tableau Prep Conductor (as part of the new data management functionality), as well as the Tableau Catalog, which automates data preparation for analysis and gives a complete and well-structured view of all available information.
In addition to these innovations, Tableau’s team continues to develop and enhance the capabilities of its software solution, making it the standard in business intelligence and a preferred choice for thousands of users worldwide.
We look forward to the upcoming new version of the solution, which promises many new, useful and impressive features. We’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, if you think that Tableau is the way to take full advantage of data in your business, you can test the solution free or contact us. We will gladly arrange a meeting and show you exactly how Tableau can benefit your business.
