Microsoft releases new version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV this autumn

After announcing its new product Microsoft Dynamics 365 earlier this year, now Microsoft is to announce the release of the new version of another member of Dynamics family – the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017. This will most probably happen during the upcoming Microsoft conference in Arizona, USA this September. The expectations are that the new version will be available to users in North America in October.

The complete information of NAV 2017’s new and improved functionalities is yet to be announced but there are already many speculations based on the recently released Microsoft Dynamics NAV roadmap.

Experts expect the new version of NAV to be even further integrated in Office 365, making it even more flexible and convenient to use without the need for users to switch between the various Microsoft solutions.

There are many speculations also regarding the functionalities for developers. The prevailing opinion is that the new NAV 2017 will give them better opportunities to develop additional modules, making it easier and faster to deploy, manage, and upgrade such customizations and extensions.

Last but not least, based on the growing demand for cloud solutions, the experts predict that special attention will be payed to the NAV – Azure integration.
