„ERP – Do You Know How?” conference, was organized in Plovdiv
The conference “ERP – Do You Know How?” took place on 4th March in Plovdiv. The event was supported and hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Plovdiv in partnership with Team VISION Bulgaria. The main purpose of the event was to present ways of avoiding risks and mistakes when choosing, implementing and using ERP software.
The participants were mostly representatives of the private sector – companies in the fields of manufacture, machine engineering, logistics, business consulting services and other.
The content of the conference covered four main topics:
1. Preparation for ERP system implementation with accent on:
- Defining the purpose of the implementation of an ERP software;
- Business processes analysis;
- Forming of a team;
- Preparing of a list with desired features that most accurately meet the specifics of the company’s business processes
2. How do we choose proper ERP system and supplier:
- Supplier choosing criteria – how to find the balance between quality, risk and price?
- How to choose a methodology of the implementation?
3. ERP system implementation with accent on:
- Methodology and management of the implementation;
- Frequent implementation mistakes;
- Key users training;
4. ERP system exploitation – with an answer to a very important question:
- Does the implementation ends with putting the system into exploitation?
Lecturers were Rosen Karaivanov – General Manager, Pavlina Kozarova – Marketing and Sales manager, Dobrin Zdravkov – Senior Consultant and Anastas Shopov – Business Development manager, all professionals from Team VISION Bulgaria with extensive experience in the area.
