Final of the initiative “The Tableau of your business”

On 16.08.2013 ended Team VISION Bulgaria’s initiative “The Tableau of your business”. It was celebrated with a business breakfast for the participants and people interested in BI technologies.

The goal of the initiative was to introduce the participants to the BI technology, and the self-service BI solution Tableau in particular. Every registered competitor got access to a demo version of the solution, instructions for reports and analysis creation, and opportunity for consultation with the experts from Team VISION Bulgaria. Using only these instructions, they have sent reports created by themselves and took part in a lottery for a 7″ Lenovo Tablet.

At the event, the specialists from Team VISION Bulgaria presented the latest trends in self-service BI technology and made ​​a demonstration of Tableau. This caused a discussion about the challenges in making informed management decisions where the participants shared their experience so far and their opinion about the progress with a BI solution.

In the end, top 5 reports from the competition were presented and a lottery determined the winner – Krasimir Goranov from GlaxoSmithKline Bulgaria.
