SECTRON Ltd. was founded in 1990 as the first private company in the security market in Bulgaria and has maintained its reputation over the years as an innovative and highly technological market leader.

The company’s main activities consist of distribution and total engineering of security systems, including: alarm systems, CCTV, fire detection and fire extinguishing systems, access control, hotel security systems, systems for detection of water and gas, perimeter security, communication systems, integrated security systems, centralized security and data transmission systems, anti-theft systems for commercial premises, specialized bank security and warning systems, structured cabling systems, among others.

Today SECTRON Ltd. is an established and preferred partner for dealers, system integrators and installers of security systems for the territory of Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Albania.

The challenges that Team VISION Bulgaria faced during the implementation process included:

• A combination between commercial and project-oriented activity
• Need of traceability of specific components (serial numbers)
• An unsuccessful previous ERP implementation by another vendor and the need to overcome the negative attitude and distrust towards the system

During the process were implemented the following modules: module Project management – budgeting, stock management, reporting and billing; module Sales of products and services; Deliveries; Management of payables and receivables; Finances and accounting.

Key moment in the implementation was the integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the BI solution Tableau. The business intelligence system allows for all the necessary reports and analyses to be created by the Sectron employees in a very flexible and comfortable manner, without the need of programming or further data processing.

Actual benefits from the ERP implementation and its integration with the BI software:

• Facilitation and automation of the processes of budgeting and analyses of revenues, expenses and profits from the project-orientated activities
