GSI-Balkani EOOD was established in 2001 under the name Balkani-LK EOOD as a wholly-owned daughter-company of OAO GSI (Russia) – one of the leading companies in the field of industrial construction in Russia.
The company specializes in construction, construction of industrial facilities, residential buildings, hotels and others. The company is also the main contractor in the implementation of the investment program and the maintenance of LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas. The company consists of machine assembly divisions, construction divisions, manufacturing and repair division, service division, workshop for repair of electromotors and transformers as well as a workshop for repair of valves, pumps and compressors.
Scope of the implemented ERP solution
The choice of MS Dynamics NAV as the company’s enterprise resources management system was determined by its capabilities in the field of management of specific business processes as well as management of customer requests and orders, reporting, billing, etc.
The implementation process was completed at two stages. The first stage covered the processes related to the financial management – valuation, billing, relations with subcontractors, supply management, delivery management, management of receivables and payables, finances and accounting as well as a specific payroll module, developed by Team VISION Bulgaria.
The second stage covered the automation of the processes of customer service, tracking of contracts and customer requests, monitoring of requirements and allocation of human resources, billing of the conducted services.
The following benefits were achieved after the successful launch of the system:
