The company is successor to Kamor Auto. The new name marked a new era in the company development related with investments and improvement of the company facilities in accordance with the high requirements of the brands BMW and MINI as well as even higher standards in customer services. The name of Auto Bavaria is immediately associated with the values of the BMW brand which has long been associated with high quality, security and technological innovations.

Auto Bavaria offers comprehensive maintenance of the brands BMW and MINI, as well as the motorcycles BMW Motorrad.

Challenges during the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV

At the time of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation project, Auto Bavaria was barely starting its business in Bulgaria. Team VISION Bulgaria had to overcome many challenges as well as have in mind the future development of the client’s business and the inevitable growth in the number of users and business processes. Our team was able to met the specific requirements of Auto Bavaria regarding its communication process with the other dealers and the manufacturer.

The implemented ERP solution manages all aspects of the client’s business processes:

  • Configuration and order of vehicles
  • Presales processes
  • Warranty and post warranty service
  • Maintenance of a complete dossier of the car, including warranty and regular service
  • Supply and sales of spare parts

As part of the ERP software Team VISION Bulgaria developed and implemented a solution for warehouse management and bookings with different priority as well as a Kanban system for supply planning.

The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV helped Auto Bavaria achieve:

  • A fivefold reduction of the volume of the stored spare parts and increase of the availability at firs inquiry
  • Reduction of the number of stored vehicles
  • A fourfold reduction of the time needed to dispatch the received spare parts towards the dealers
