The company is a leader in the sale, maintenance and service of high quality agricultural, construction, forestry, golf and garden equipment and official representative in Bulgaria of world renown manufacturers such as John Deere, KUHN, Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment, Bobcat.

Megatron was established back in 1998 and chosen from the American concern John Deere to be the exclusive representative of its world-known brand in Bulgaria.

Since 1999 Megarton also represents the French concern Kuhn – world’s leading manufacturer of attachable agricultural machinery. Nowadays the company has over 160 highly educated and motivated employees, contributing to its rapid growth. The increase in sales and dynamic expansion created a need for expansion of dealership and service centers throw-out the country. For this purpose, Megatron has invested more than 3 million. euros in the construction of new advanced technical centres in Pleven, Yambol and Plovdiv, which are equipped with specialized diagnostic equipment.

Scope of the ERP project

The implementation of the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics NAV covered all processes related to accounting, storage, fixed assets management, purchases and sales.

To address the client’s specific needs Team VISION Bulgaria also developed and implemented a specific Machinery module. The module enables the creation of a separate card for each machine, as well as to track everything related to the machine, including the cost of servicing its additional equipment, spare parts, management of contracts related to it – contributions, interest, terms, etc.

The implementation of the ERP software resulted in specific benefits for the client:

  • More effective management of lease contracts of the machines
  • Automated invoicing for lease payments
  • Planning of revenues by using a functionality for calculating of expected revenues for each machine
